Ted has over 35 years of experience in the health care industry focusing on innovation, strategy, health system operations and health tech startups. After earning his bachelor’s degree at Washington University in St. Louis and his MBA at the UCLA Anderson School of Management Ted cut a path through healthcare strategic consulting as a partner at Oliver Wyman, SSB, Strategy & and Huron. In addition, he has operational experience, leading a large Integrated Delivery System in the Midwest.
He was the second Chief Innovation Officer in the entire health care industry and in that role launched over 200 initiatives (35+ were start-up ventures) and was a founding member of the Innovation Learning Network. For the last six years he has been investing in, building, and driving the commercialization of health tech start-ups. With his partner he launched Schwab Tremblay Solutions, a boutique interim healthcare management company for healthcare startups where they have successful managed the launch of companies, raised money, and developed boards and clinical partnership.
